Desi daru
Desi daru also known as Desi Sharaab, Desi Liquor, Deshi Daru or Country Liquor is an indigenous alcoholic drink made in Indian subcontinent. It is traditionally prepared from the procedure passed down for centuries. It is primary and popular alcoholic beverage in India's village population and poor in urban area. It is fermented and distilled from any fruit that has high sugar content, for example Orange, Papaya, Banana, Pineapples. Desi liquor is a broad term and it can include both legally and illegally made local alcohol. The term ''desi daru'' usually refers to legal alcohol while other types of desi liquor (arrack and palm toddy) may be categorised as Moonshine alcohol. ==Etymology== (詳細はdesi'' is often used to describe things related to South Asian/Indian diaspora.
